These modern art wall quilts have a minimal, graphic design. High contrast black and white combined with a black and white stripe give these art textiles graphic appeal. Geometry expressed in straight lines and curves. Two-color binding frames the pieces in a contrasting edge. The parallel quilting lines in variegated thread add another layer of design.
Use the two quilts together or separately as modern wall art in bedroom, office, entryway, stairwell, kitchen, dining room or hallway.
The back of each mini quilt has rod pockets sewn in the top two corners, for easy installation on your wall. You will need a wooden dowel (round or flat slat) cut to the appropriate length – about 25 inches. Simply tuck the ends of the dowel into the top corner pockets and hang on the wall by setting the dowel on small nails or pushpins. Both art quilts measure 19.5 inches tall. NIGHT has a width of 26 inches and DAY is slightly wider at 26.75 inches. All fabric and batting are premium 100% cotton.
After construction, the wall quilts were machine washed in cold, and dried on low for 10 minutes, then removed from the dryer while partially damp and laid flat to air dry. If you continue this care, no further shrinkage will occur.
