INDIGO NEBULA Modern quilted runner for table or wall – 15 by 54 inches

This modern runner has a minimal geometric design. Two fabrics are paired in negative symmetry to form on-point squares along the length of the runner. A shibori star print in indigo and white partners with a tonal blue fabric in denim to create this simple design.  The geometric design gives this runner contemporary style with a mid-century feel.   A perfect addition to your contemporary home. This runner will provide the perfect accent as a wall hanging or as a table runner on your dining table, entry console or bedroom dresser.

I stitched various circle and angle designs on each triangle section of the runner to add another layer of pattern and textural interest. The reverse side of the runner is made with remnant pieces of fabric from the front. The back of the runner has rod pockets sewn in all four corners, so you can hang on the wall from either end. You will need a wooden dowel (round or flat slat) cut to the appropriate length. Simply tuck the ends of the dowel into the top corner pockets and hang on the wall by setting the dowel on small nails or pushpins. Fabrics and batting are premium 100% cotton.

After construction, the runner was machine washed, tumble dried on low for 10 minutes, then removed from the dryer while partially damp and laid flat to air dry. If you continue this care, no further shrinkage will occur.
