GEMSTONE STRANDS Modern throw quilt 61 by 71 inches

This modern handmade quilt features colorful designer prints in a minimalist three dimensional design.  Colors include gemstone shades of blue, purple, aqua, topaz, pink, orange, green and teal.  The jewel tones really sparkle against the brilliant white background.  I included an angled gray shading accent that gives the quilt its three dimensional illusion.  This quilt will bring dynamic design and rich color to any room in your house.

An original stitching pattern in chain squares and stars adds another layer of design and enhances the quilt’s retro appeal. This stitching gives the quilt a lush texture, crinkled appearance, and easy drape.  Unbleached cotton batting gives the quilt lightweight warmth. The reverse side has two strands of diamonds on a field of dove gray. The binding in aqua was attached with two rounds of machine stitching for durability. All fabrics and batting are premium 100% cotton.

Care: Machine wash in cold water. Tumble dry, low heat; or air dry flat if you prefer. The quilt has been machine washed and dried after construction, to shrink it to its final dimensions.
