GECKO Full size quilt 78 by 96 inches

This original, handmade quilt was designed, cut, pieced, quilted and bound by me in my home studio. I love creating unique handmade textiles for your home using modern design, premium fabrics, and attention to detail in every stitch.

The curvy pattern was inspired by mid-century Danish design.  A twisted ribbon in shades of green ripples around three center circles in chartreuse.  The curvy green shades are limeade, peridot and basil on a background in gecko.

Using silver thread, I stitched parallel lines across the width of the quilt, giving it an easy drape, crinkled appearance, and a lush textured feel. The reverse side is juniper green with three floating stars in the center.  Unbleached cotton batting gives the quilt lightweight warmth. The binding  was attached with two rounds of machine stitching for durability.  All fabrics and batting are premium 100% cotton.

This quilt is perfectly sized for a full-size (double) bed. The monochromatic palette and simple, geometric design will bring a contemporary, mid-century vibe to any room in your modern home.

Care: Machine wash in cold water. Tumble dry, low heat; or air dry flat if you prefer. The quilt has been machine washed and dried after construction, to shrink it to its final dimensions.
