JUNIPER BERRY Modern Throw Quilt 64 by 67 Inches

This quilt has a minimal, mid-century inspired design. A transparency effect is achieved as shapes overlap in shades of green and blue. The subdued palette is made up of shades of green- citron, olive, palm and juniper; and blue – astral, aero blue, and nautical.  Rounded corners and a modern chain square quilting design add more layers to the mid-century styling.  This throw quilt will make a sophisticated addition to your modern or traditional home in your living room, bedroom or reading nook.

The reverse side has an improv-pieced center block bordered by olive and citron. I used a modern curved chain square stitching design to add texture across the width of the quilt.  This stitching gives the quilt an easy drape, crinkled appearance, and a lush feel. Unbleached cotton batting provides lightweight warmth. The binding in juniper was attached with machine stitching for durability. All fabrics and batting are premium 100% cotton.

Care: Machine wash in cold water. Tumble dry, low heat; or air dry flat if you prefer. The quilt has been machine washed and dried after construction, to shrink it to its final dimensions.
