WINTER TREE Modern throw quilt 65 by 66 inches

Cathedral window blocks are arranged in an abstract tree form in this festive blue and white Christmas quilt.  The centers of the elegant diamonds were cut from a printed snowflake fabric panel.  I used various shades of blue to frame the centers, then arranged the blocks in this graphic tree shape.  A modern winter quilt to celebrate snowy days and cozy nights.  This snuggly throw quilt will make a cozy and charming addition to your holiday home.  Wrap up in your living room, bedroom or reading nook, or display it on the wall in entry way, stairwell, living room or great room to bring a modern sparkle of holiday spirit.

I used free-motion stitching in waves of echo lines and ribbons to add movement and texture. This stitching gives the quilt an easy drape, crinkled appearance, and a lush, textured feel. The reverse side has strips of triangle trees in blue and white framed by green in olive and juniper. Unbleached cotton batting gives the quilt lightweight warmth.  The binding in blue was attached securely with two rounds of machine stitching for durability.  All fabrics and batting are premium 100% cotton.

Care: Machine wash in cold water. Tumble dry, low heat; or air dry flat if you prefer. The quilt has been machine washed and dried after construction, to shrink it to its final dimensions.
